3GHz NovaThor L8580 CPU will be unveiled at MWC 2013

This  MWC will be even hot than ever it was.The news is that the ST-Ericsson unveiled a 2.5GHz NovaThor L8580 CPU earlier in this year, but now they are ready to showcase an incredibly  faster version of the chip at MWC 2013.

NovaThor L8580  has four Cortex A9 cores affixed in it and hopefully is going to be unveiled at MWC.It will be clocked at 3GHz (As reported by other websites but not a sure information). Also to boost up the  battery power, ST-Ericsson have build the chipset with the 28nm FD-SOI manufacturing technology.

            It also has ModAp, which optimizes the execution of apps and as bounce up the speed to 35% faster. The chip comes with support for dual cameras (of up to 20MP), HD Voice and LTE radio. The GPU will be of the PowerVR SGX544 family,clocked at 600MHz.

                The 3GHz NovaThor L8580 CPU is a prototype yet but at MWC we will see this in action.
