Kyocera unveils Kyocera Torque, rugged LTE droid

Kyocera unveils a rugged LTE smartphone named as Kyocera Torque.This is a Android (v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich) smartphone powered with a 1.3GHz dual core Krait Qualcomm MSM8960 Processor. Also it has 1GB of RAM,5 Megapixel rear and 1.3MP front camera for face timing and other purposes.

For sake of connectivity it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 , NFC and microSD card slot for memory expansion,up to 32GB.

The main point is that device has IP67  certification as well as it satisfies Military Standard 810G. This means that t can be kept 1 meter deep water for 30 minutes. Also military standards makes sure that it can be operated -4° to 122°F (-20° to 50°C) atmosphere for up to 4 hours. The drop from 4 feet can not harm it a little bit. Also it can bear dust, and salt fog exposure, 95% humidity, solar radiation exposure, low pressures up to 4572 meters, etc.

Also for better sound effects Kyocera  placed its Smart Sonic Receiver tech inside the Torque, which enhances the sound in the ear,means there is no need for a traditional speaker in the device.This is acchieved by transmitting sound via vibrations directly to the eardrum.

The availability date and pricing is not unveiled yet but it will be on shelves in Sprint stores in Q4.
