LG is developing 8-core Odin chip, Optimus G II will have same chipset

Now LG is also ready to unveil their self developed chipset and they working on 8 core chip, named as Odin. This is first chip of LG,grown with their own efforts for incoming devices.LG is manufacturing this chip with Taiwanese TSMC chipmaker.A source clears out that chipset will be ARM based which contains four Cortex-A15 cores using 28 nanometer level processing and four lower-powered Cortex-A7 cores.May be this is adopted to balance between processing power and power consumption. The four A15 cores will be available for complex  tasks, while the A7 will be for service tasks, which require less processing and power consumption. Thus the device will have plenty of processing power on tap, but will only utilize it when it's needed. Also LG is planning to install this on their smartphones and first one would be LG Optimus G II,which would be unveiled in Q3.According to KoreaTimes, the rumors about this chipset could be true.
