After ZTE and Alcatel,Sony is also ready to unveil a Firefox OS running smartphone in 2014.This is a sure news because some of developers stated that Firefox OS is quite better than Android in many aspects like Application development,security and much more.Also this is confirmed by Bob Ishida - the company's deputy CEO.He said that Sony's
engineers are currently working with Firefox OS Mobile and HTML 5
evolving technologies which show great potential.
It was sad in a joint event between
Sony and
Telefonica, where the Spanish carrier announced that it will launch the
Xperia Z Android flagship and the recently announced Xperia Tablet Z. Also Telefonica and Sony carrier partners will contribute in the development of a Firefox OS handset.Also it is great opportunity for Mozilla that Sony
has joined the group ZTE, Huawei, Alcatel, and LG so Firefox OS could get even successful than Android flagships.
