- Morientes: In reply to DOB85 @ 2013-03-14 22:36 from H5AU -I agree!Last 6 pictures are a proof, that are far better then galaxy. More realistic, not a cartoonish. I would still pick/buy XZ, if i had money.
- Alex Burnout:The reading is much better on the Z.
LOL its arealdy been outclassed by the Optimus G pro, it ALREADY is faster than the S4, and the screen is already the best, sorry but sammy is becioming apple, rleaseing Tech thats already too old
- puruSamyy:In reply to SAMSUNG-MV @ 2013-03-14 21:39 from YUfx - like a refreshed s3 with bigger screen.....dissapointed

- techie:Im a samsung lover I've had all the galaxies but i gotta hand it in to Xperia Z, what an amazing device, such a beauty, defines elegance, class, power, smoothness, too bad Im poor & cannot afford such a fine mobile device, samsung is becoming like Iphone (coming with same design is getting boring)

A few things:
1. Those black levels are gorgeous. I haven't seen blacks like that on an AMOLED since the S2... After that the high ppi SAMOLED screen like Note/S3/Nexus all had that gray thing, which was like a good LCD, but it defeats the purpose of an OLED screen. I read that it was because of the threshold voltage applied to all OLEDs for faster switching (a common electrical phenomena with transistors). But that is just amazing. Love that.
2. The matrix used should be better than the pentile of old.
3. The color gamut of a Super AMOLED is higher than necessary, i.e. more than the SRGB color standard, which also means it shows more colors than it should. But that can be 'reined in' so to speak, by software. If Samsung did proper calibration it won't matter if it's pentile or RGB or hexagonal or shaped like a goddamn trapezoid. It's gonna be beautiful.
4. It doesn't matter if the screen is not the brightest around, if Samsung makes the glass of low reflectance, and it's visible outdoors, it'll get the job done, since that's the point of having a bright screen. No one uses OLED screens indoors with more than 50% brightness, it's not necessary. It hurts your eyes in a dark room and wastes battery in indoor lighting.
5. Many people will get this phone for the screen alone.
6. People just need reasons to bitch and whine before the reviews are in.

- lamia:No no guys. Just wait few months...
Sammy will release Refreshed S4 with better screen and better build quality. LOL
- samda:Gosh, the S4' screen is horrible! Dim, with really bad whites, and even worse black clipping than that of the S3!If this is how the final product will look like, I call it a disaster
- Anonymous:We have the blackest winner here. The dual sim. We got also the clear winner. Single sim.
- Anonymous:Good luck to Sam in selling 100 millions of that rofl.

Now android fan. Not samsung,of hTc.
Hate samsung for build and display quality.
Htc rules in display and build quality and Sense ui is the cleanest one.
I'm htc one x user and previously was incredible user. I've used samsung and all i can say, S2 was the best phone ever made by samsung... My dad still use s2 and he doesn't like any of the later phones by samsung. He's gonna get X z as he wants big screen and better build quality and camera.
Pentile matrix is an oldie, samsung. U gotta move on...

- myeyes:i find Xperia Z is far better
- Ludovic From France:Disappointing. HTC One is still on top for screen quality.
- Faria:Actually i thought Sony Xperia Z screen is better?! Or is it just me? S4 seems darker and unnatural colors...
- M.G:S IV screen was only dark! Nothing inspiring... S IV's screen and future both r in dark!Samsung your golden period ends here.Sony, get to the centre stage
- Gris Bleu:That site doesn't know that viewing angels are the most important in our life. :D
- narakibis:I feel xperia z picture is better than s4... S4 seems to be darker...
- Anonymous:Xperia Z wins. Much much better screen.
- Anonymous:In reply to C Williams @ 2013-03-14 19:18 from teu0 -Even the black on Super Amoled it's inky black not even pure black, yellow looks orange,White doesn't looks that bright at all, some 3D intensive games has lot of pixels and looks bad cause of lower pixels density screen. this coming from owner of S3 and Note 2.
