Microsoft and Nokia delayed the Windows Phone 7.8 updates

Here is bad news for Nokia Windows 8 phone users.Unfortunately Microsoft delayed the Windows 7.8 update for shortlisted devices like Nokia Lumia 800, Lumia 900 and Lumia 610.According to source the company is working to fix a software glitch in the release, but how much time it will take is unconfirmed yet.

According to folks at CNET ,they have received a confirmation for the halt of the update from Nokia. According to Finnish company representative, the glitch seems to be a minor issue in the Windows Phone 7.8 software and update process will resume shortly.

What Update brings: The latest Windows Phone 7.8 update will come with a refreshed home-screen and re-sizable live tiles.But this this will be the last major update for the Windows Phone 7.x smartphones because Microsoft has already confirmed that these smartphones will not get Windows Phone 8.x treatment.
